I love old school bikes, I used to have one when I was like 8 but didn't really appreciate its retro charm when I was a youngster.

I found a bike almost exactly like this at Big W today. Will someone buy it for me? Perhaps as an early birthday present. I promise to ride it all the time..

My much searched for knee high gladiator sandals have arrived. Looking foward to pairing these baby's with some denim cut-offs, a loose grey t-shirt and some ray bans- oh and some brown legs..I'm looking a little pale right now..

I'm a big fan of model Erin Wasson's style so I was very interested to see how her collection for RVCA would turn out. Casual yet edgy, with a bit of a 90's grunge feel. Whether you love it or hate it you cant really deny that the collection isn't influenced by Erin's own personal style. What do you think?

Waiting Patiently..

All summer long I have been waiting patiently to discover the perfect pair of knee high Gladiator sandals. They had to be black, not brown yet simple, and not too over the top. Today that day finally came. While innocently browsing online I came across a pair from Sportsgirl on sale from $119.95 down to $49.95. Score! Now all i have to do is wait 3-5 working days for them to arrive in my hot little hands.

Shake It Like a Polaroid Picture

I have always been a big fan of the polaroid camera. For as long as I can remember I have been attracted to those little square photos and their thick white boarders with space at the bottom big enough to write on. I was always on the lookout for a perfect polaroid camera until I stumbled upon www.poladroid.net If you havent checked it and your a lover of polaroid pictures then you definitely must. You just download the polaroid application, pick any picture you like and drag it across and it spits out a little polaroid of that picture. Genius!

I'm always looking for great books to immerse myself in so today I picked up a copy of Jack Kerouac's 'On the Road'. The book is based on spontaneous road trips that Kerouac and his friends took across America. It's dubbed a classic and I've heard great things about it so I'm looking foward to curling up and starting it. Feel free to share any great reads you've come across.

Shakedown 1979

I'm a lover of fashion and a lover of blogs so I'm combining the two and introducing my own..Oh So Hip It Hurts..

This summer season I'm being hugely inspired by anything 1970's. Highwaisted demin, waist length hair parted down the middle and tanned limbs have been inspiring me to flash the peace sign and listen to songs like Elton John's 'Tiny Dancer' and 'California Dreaming' by the Mamas and the Papas.
